I am really enjoying this devotional book.  I downloaded it onto my kindle a few weeks ago and I love reading the daily entries.

Seriously love it.

It’s simple, yet profound.

I read it as I sip my morning coffee, brain still fuzzy and eyes only partially open.

It has been a blessing.

The daily devotions are relatively short and very do-able, yet filled with golden nuggets of encouragement and truth.

The book is written in the first person so that it feels as though God is speaking to me.

Sometimes I require the direct approach.

It prevents me from casually looking over my shoulder to see if He’s really addressing the person behind me. ;)

It also feels more intimate.  He’s talking to me.

‘Jesus Calling’ is not a deep, intensive study of scripture, but rather a daily invitation to be in communion with Him.

To trust Him.

To thank Him.

To find peace in this crazy, painful, and often cruel world…through Him.

It helps (along with massive quantities of caffeine) to get my heart and mind in alignment with God’s will.

I often read one entry and then find myself wanting more.

I agree. Good book. Paul has this one and I always find myself reading it while I am at his house. I was just reading it this past weekend. :)

Haha, I agree. I’ve had this book for 2 years. I typed my name in Google and saw this pop up and I was like, “Oh, I love that book!” I need to start reading it everyday again like I used to.
